Hi all,
Could anybody tell me please if it's necessary to fix the
'exponential-weighting-constant' value configuring WRED? I think the default
value is 9 and I don't know if I have to calculate a fix value. And how can
it be calculated if you only know the minimum threshold, the maximum
threshold and the number of packets discarded with critical priority?
I know the formula is: average = (old_average * (1-2 -n)) +
(current_queue_size * 2 -n) but I don't see it.
Thanks in advance,
Rgrds,
Enrique Hernandez
