Below are a couple of notes that I plugged in a txt file for my studies.
I remember feeling pretty comfortable about these, but check it out for
yourself and let me know if I goofed up. Sorry for the choppy grammer -
quick lab jots.
Notes to self:
---------------
1. If you use a secondary address on an interface that has EIGRP enabled
on it then in order to advertise it you have to do a couple of things.
a.) you have to create a network statement for the secondary (you
HAVE TO - i checked) you also have to turn off 'ip split-horizons eigrp
<as>' under the interface.
b.) or you can simply redistribute the connected and do not turn off
split-horizons. And you do NOT need to create a network
statement for the secondary ip.

Yes, it works if you use the 'network' statement for the secondary
network
but if you just use the 'network' command for the primary and try to
redistribute the connected interface filtering the secondary ip address
it
doesn't work. Because that's the case, you cannot use 'network' to
announce
the secondary address. At least, I didn't get it.
Thanks a lot Adam.
