Hi,

I looked at the link and if I am reading this right, then it states that

"Credit information is available ONLY to legitimate businesses that have
a permissible purpose for obtaining it under the provisions of the
federal Fair Credit Reporting Act. Those purposes are financial
transactions, initiated by you, the consumer, for reasons of credit,
insurance or employment. There has been no change to this law."

So to me this reads that if I am going for a job then a business can
request my credit and have it viewed. I dont know about you all but to
me this does not sound to good. A company can pull my file see how much
i have on my credit cards and what my status is and then base an offer
based on what they think they can get not what market bares. OR am I
reading this wrong?

BTW a tech question. I am working on the 3550 and when i do the no
switchport and turn the port into a routing one but use the no keep
command the interface shuts down. yet when you issue the no keep on a
router it has it states up so you can at least put it into the route
table. Any one know how to make the no keep work when the port with the
no switchport ? ThankMatthew Anglin
