Thanks Kym, I have been looking at the Teltone with suggestions from other
users that also suggest this unit but from the manufactures website it goes
for 2850 man, they are proud of that guy. Maybe I will look on Ebay Thanks
for the info... Have you had any weird problems with the Teltone ??? Thanks
Steve

Subject: Re: Recomended ISDN Simulators
Steve,
I have two and am very happy with both. One is Teltone ILS-1000
(predecessor to ILS-2000) and the other if from Vconsoles. Both have both U
and S/T ports, so works with 2500, 2600, 3600, 4000, and 7000 routers with
no external NT1 required. Both emulate basic-ni1 switches and other switch
types with optional add-on software. Both have attractive black paint with
red detail. Both have soft-reset switch.
Teltone is approx 10"X10", 3" tall. Vconsole is approx 5"X7", 1.5" tall.
Teltone never wears out and is frequently on eBay for $1100-1700. Vconsole
is available new at:
http://www.vconsole.net/simulator_isdn.html
Vconsole is easily reprogrammable, so I changed my spids to match those of
the Teltone. No problems with either.
HTH, Kym
