Joe,

If I remember correctly you can do back to back on the IMA modules.
What you cannot do is regular T1 framing.

Subject: ATM IMA/T1 Crossover

I always seem to come up with the weird questions. I work for a telecom
provider and recently we got in two 2620's that were over-ordered for a
customer and can't be returned. I have gotten permission to use them
for some
testing purposes, and they have 4 port T1 IMA cards in them. Since I
have had
zero availability to do ATM configuration, I would assume that you could
use
T1 crossover cables to hook them up back to back and simulate an ATM
connection.

Am I right on this or, like ISDN BRI, are you restricted to being
directly
connected to a switch? This sounds like it should work but wanted some
other
guidance in working it out.

Joe
