Hello,
I don't think that is the case. I haven't been in a lab, if I'm wrong, CCIEs, please correct me.
In a CCIE lab, you work on a workstation which links to a terminal router. The terminal router's async interface connetcts to all the other Cisco kits' console ports. You telnet to the terminal router first, and from there, you reverse telnet to any Cisco kit. So, why do you use Hyper-terminal? Even DOS command line is better.
