The process ID is locally significant only (never passed)...

The LSA types DO contain Router ID information and Area ID information,
but nothing about process ID.

Area ID's must agree for two routers to exchange information directly
with each other on a particular network segment. A mismatch of any
important information in the Hello's being exchanged will cause OSPF to
not be very happy.
