Frame-Relay RTP Header Compression causes distorted tone

Hi folks,

I have a couple of 2611s with VIC-2FXS voice cards installed. Whenever I implement frame-relay rtp header compression it causes a distorted/static ringing tone in the handset when I dial the remote peer. On the output of the terminal console I receive an error message saying "no ring descriptor". Does anyone have an idea what could be the cause of the problem?
