I haven't actually added up the hours in my lab notebooks, but I have
estimated that I spent about 550 hours on the routers before I passed (hours
on routers after passing CCIE written qualifier). That time would count
diagramming and pre-staging labs, but not reading books, groupstudy, IOS
docs, etc.
