Subject: For New Members: Invitation to an IRC Server for CCIE Study

To the *gasp* 2000 new members of the ccielab list, I would like to extend a
cordial welcome and invite you to the IRC server that I am running for CCIE
study. Come hang out with the rest of us social misfits and recluses and
make stupid IOS jokes that your spouse wouldn't understand, laugh derisively
at Nortel stock prices and generally share in the technical discussions. We
have a good core of CCIEs that still grace us with their presence and do
their best to illuminate what is obfuscated.

You can find us at:

server: irc.tacorp.net

channel: #cisco

We are not on an irc network, so you need not fear spam or script kiddies.

If you notice many people there but noone talking at the time, be patient as
people are probably either working or labbing or even occasionally talking
to their families, though we discourage that particular behaviour.

Good luck with your studies!
