What is the requirement ?
Basically , you need snmp server set up, its ip address, what traps you need
to enable/send, and a community string (something like password). Provided
you have all this, it should be easy to set up.

So for example, your snmp server is on 192.168.1.2 and the RO (read only)
community string is cisco, you can have something like

snmp-server community-string ro cisco
snmp-server host 192.168.1.2 cisco
snmp-server enable traps bgp (this will enable traps for bgp)

snmp-server trap-source loop0 (optional).

You can use these commands and get basic snmp stuff going.
