Correct; the 'backup load' command is used to bring up the isdn line at a
certain percentage of mail line load.

Subject: argument over dialer load-threshold command

am I correct that the dialer load-threshold command under the dialer
interface is only used for instructing at which percentage of the load that
the ISDN line brings up another B channel and not at what percentage of the
main line load that it will bring up the ISDN interface? Here is a bit of

the config

interface Dialer1
description ISDN Backup circuit to
ip address 10.5.216.74 255.255.255.252
encapsulation ppp
dialer pool 1
dialer remote-name
dialer string
dialer load-threshold 192 either
dialer-group 1

Thanks,
