I haven't worked with an STS10 in 10 years but I'm sure it's running
8.x IOS at best which is a bit different than what your currently
accustomed to. When if config mode for example there is no prompt, you
type what you wnat and hit return, no question marks or tabs we are all
used to.
Some of your 2509 config may be valid but the STS does not route, it's
strictly a terminal server and if I recall correctly the pinouts are
unique to it, they were not the same as it's bigger brothers, the MSM
and ASM terminal servers.
But for what you want to do it will work just make sure you can find
some docs on CO or get the paper docs with the server!!
