I recently purchased three IBM 16mb MAUs with a bunch of cables on ebay for
$1 (+$24 shipping), so the Token ring stuff is pretty cheap.

No.

You can get mau's for $20 at ebay. Make sure you know which type cables
you need. IBM made many different token ring cable types.

I got some two ended coax cables I still haven't figured out. Believe
they are for mau to mau use.

Subject: Token ring

Hi:
Is there anyway to enable token ring interface without connecting it to
MSU or Token Ring switch? For example, as Ethernet, I can set "no
keepalive", but it is not working on token ring.
Any soft or hard way to do it is appreciate.
Bill
