It works just like hyperterm, meaning it's a terminal emulator that can connect
to a router or switch either through serial or through telnet (or other protoc
ols like ssh).

Subject: SecureCRT

In messages last week it was discussed that RTP uses SecureCRT instead of Hyper
Terminal.

If I were to get Secure CRT and load it on my laptop for my home lab which is a
mixture of 11.3 and 12.1 older routers 2500's 3620's etc. do I need to set up
an additional server for Secure CRT or can it just go to the router like HyperT
erminal both through the console and through telnet?
