Actually there is 16Mb of RAM:

Actual output from show version:

cisco 2512 (68030) processor (revision N) with 14336K/2048K bytes of memory.
....
16384K bytes of processor board System flash (Read ONLY)

This 14Mb of main memory and 2Mb of shared memory.

Suggestion: Remove all RAM and flash. Clean the contacts
with either rubbing alcohol or a soft eraser.
