Is it because you have CLNS routing enabled and that has already determined
the system ID, a bit like the IPX routing command? I know very little about
CLNS so I am probably completely wrong!
Colin.

Subject: ISIS NET ID
I've gotten a wierd error message when trying to enter the net ID on a
router. Config, command and error listed below. Can anyone provide an
explaination? I haven't got the same error on any other router... just this
one. By the way... I'm running IOS 12.0(7)T
Thanks,
Chris
