Jim,

Two issues, layer 1 and layer 2:

(1) You can attach the DCE end of your crossover cable to either the Frame
Switch or the Router. The physical serial interface that has the DCE cable
needs to set clockrate with "clock rate 56000" command. Clock rate cannot
be set if the DTE end of the cable is attached (DTE expects to receive
clocking externally). If the cable is not marked, you can tell which end of
the cable you have by using "show controllers serial 0".

(2) Przemek is right ... at layer 2, the frame-relay switch needs to think
it is the dce with the "frame-relay intf-type dce" command.
