Are you sure that it is not the serial port on your PC? I had a similar
problem and it turned to be the serial port on my Laptop was faulty.

Subject: Router with a bad console...?

Hi,

I have a 2501 router with a bad console... how to solve this problem? I
have tried to connect to the AUX port; it worked for the first time.
But, when I deleted the old configuration I could no more connect to the
router. Any help is appreciated.
