Routing question

Hi Everyone,

My co-worker has asked me a specific question.

He has a Cisco router with 2 ethernet interfaces A & B. Workstations on
network A use the router as a default gateway. There are static routes
pointing out to the network on A.

If he either disconnects the cable from Interface B or does a shutdown on
Interface B will the router still route out Interface A? Specifically the
static routes?

Please let me know what you think is going to happen.
