Jake, use it towards your advantage... you're ahead of other potential

this might give you some motivation....

Subject: PAPER CCIE - Cisco Monitors Please READ THIS

Well, I guess "paper CCIE" is coming soon. Just like "paper MCSE" became
rampant after I
earned it by studying my butt off (in addition to a couple years of
experience, of
course).
I swear, why the hell can't they make an effort to keep it secure. I
mean, come on!
How much would it cost per candidate to check some documents, take a picture
and
thumbprint and put it all on a card with a hologram and microprint. $20
dollars per
candidate (on the first attempt only)?? $40 maybe even $100. I would be
happy to pay even
double if they ensured complete security. What's stopping Joe Q. Sixpack
from paying Mr
CCIE #12345 $10,000 to go pass the test for him. Shit, that's cheaper than
most CCIE
schools cost. I would never do it, but I'm willing to be 50% of the people
out there
would!!! Just look at the emails you guys are getting. And I'm willing to
bet
internationally it's even worse! There's places where the CCIE is worth more
than an
American passport. You figure it out.

Sh*t, Microsoft does a better job securing the MCP and that only costs $120.

Although I haven't yet met an incompetent CCIE, (and I have met people with
years of
experience who don't know jack) I'm still beginning to worry. No wonder the
cert hasn't
helped my career to date. I really hope someone at Cisco reads this and has
an epiphany.
Otherwise, they'll have to make the test so damn hard to keep it valuable
that the only
people passing it will be the proctors. Why can't they learn anything from
Mirosoft's
failure?

Sorry 'bout the tone guys... this stuff pushes my buttons.
