Power it on and configure it and it's ready to go (just kidding sort
of).

I use an AGS+ in my rack and it works great. The only problem initially
was setting the jumpers on the boards. The default is DTE and if you
have DCE cables you have to move some jumpers around. Also I upgraded
the IOS to 11.0x so get the online help and other commands that look
familiar. Other than that you treat it like any other router and use
frame-relay commands to configure it as a frame-switch. Let me know if
you need a sample.

Thanks,

Ian

Subject: AGS+ as a frame switch

Does anybody know the specs that would be necessary to use an old AGS+
as a
frame-switch for lab purposes?

Thanks,

Steven Ferguson
