Dial up users bandwidth requirements - Design Question

Hi there,

Does anybody have any formula's for working out the bandwidth requirements
that dial up users will use when connected to an Access Server, like the
AS5300. For example, if there are 500 PSTN 56k users simultaneously dialed
up to a number of AS5300's which then access the internet, what kind of
bandwidth requirements do I need for the internet pipe? ISP's in the UK seem
to use a 20:1 contention ratio. Anyone got any rules of thumb to work this
out?

Thanks,

Simon.
