Hi everyone,
I guess its my time to write down some short reflections about the way
to CCIE.
Won't waste bandwidth on what to study - you've heard it all before. I
would however like to point out two exceptional resources that most
certainly contributed to me passing on the first attempt:
Heinz Ulm CCIE Bootcamp - what can I say - if you live in Europe (or
anywhere else for that matter) , this is a great course to take. Thanks
Heinz - you're THE man!!
Bradshawlabs for great online racks and very good support. Thanks Jeff!
Other than that - if I had to do it over again (actually I probably will
with the Security track...) I would emphasise doing even more hours on
the rack. Always verify what's in written by doing it on the rack. If in
doubt - should you read ANOTHER book or practice more? - always head for
the rack, that's my honest opinon.
My heartfelt thanks also to Paul for creating this site - I think
you've helped a lot of us achieve our gools sooner. Many thanks to all
those contributing to this list - many of you have spent countless hours
explaining different issues - since I've mostly been a lurker here I
truly recognize the emmense effort that some of you have put in. I will
continue to use the list and hopefully find the time to become a more
active member from now on!
Regards
Johan S
