Kris,
You have a cisco4000, the maximum RAM you can install is 16MB. Don't waste
your money with a larger flash card, they're way to expensive, just boot
the router from a tftp server. Unlikely the 2500 series, the 4000 run IOS
from RAM, so you'll be good. I have one with 16MB RAM and I run 12.1.14
booting from the tftp server.
