Perchance, the interfaces the tunnel is attached are also in a ospf
area?

If the router uses ospf to access the tunnel, and you are sending ospf
thru the tunnel, you will have a loop.

Subject: ospf over tunnel

I'm trying to get ospf to work over a tunnel. I've set the ospf network
type
to point-to-point and getting this error: %OSPF-5-ADJCHG: Process 100,
Nbr
192.168.4.4 on Tunnel0 from EXSTART to DOWN, Neighbor Down: Too many DBD
retransmitions

Has anyone seen this before?
