While it might have been better for the fellow who asked the questions if he
had looked the answers up on CCO, we would not have gotten that nicely
written reply explaining how set cam permanent survives reboot.
The rules of this list require posters to check the archives first. I just
checked the rules, and they don't require everyone to exhaust the remedies
provided by the vast CCO
before bringing their case to this court, so to speak. If they did, the
list
might as well close up shop, because virtually all answers are found
somewhere
on CCO, if you look long enough I know the effort might well be worth it,
to the person posing the question, but I for one enjoy getting a few
interesting points like this spoon-fed to me when I am taking a break from
the hard work of configuring lab scenarios, reading IOS 12.1 docs, and
reading liberally from most of the books ever mentioned on this
list and a few never mentioned here. I don't feel like I am working when I
read the list, but I am still learning something.
I can't be the only one who feels this way.
