Hello Brian
You can use cost for load balancing, if you set the cost
on the local peer, this peer informs his peers with the
specified cost, but on the other way, cost in the remote-peer
statement override this behaviour.
Hope this clears a bit

Subject: DLSW+ cost parameter
Dear Group,
I am having difficulty understanding how the cost parameter works in a
DLSW+ remote peer statement.
If I use it in the local peer statement, then using show dlsw capability
ip
x.x.x.x on the remote peer shows the different cost. Using it in the
remote
peer statement does not produce a change when using show dlsw capability
ip
x.x.x.x on the remote peer.
Your help is appreciated,
Brian
