Here are the steps I have just tried.
1. set r2 e0 to passive for rip
2. use neighbor statement in rip for r2 to r1, so only r1 will receive r2
lo0 network via unicast.
3. r2 will still be able to receive any rip route broadcast from both r1 &
 r3.

It seems to satisfy your requirement, give it a go!

Just use an extended access-list.

access-list 101 permit ip host lo01 host/r1 network
implicit deny

You would probably just need to disable split-horizon on e0:
R5(config)#int e0
R5(config-if)#no ip split-horizon
