If you don't need load balance, you need to make them unequal (in term of
metric&pref). So, one would run as only backup.

Subject: BGP's backup

A question about BGP, R1 belongs AS65000 , R2 and R3
belongs AS65001, R1 is connecting R2 and R3.
In default, does the R2 and R3 have the backup function?
For example, I am using R1 and R2 for communication. If
the link was down, could the R1 and R3 come in work? But
pay attention, I don't need load blance.

Thanks
Young
