Hi..

This is what the terminal server is for . Use a cisco 2511 ( 16 async
ports) and connect all the other routers to these ports through async
rollover cables.
Connect the 2511 on the LAN or WAN ( from wherever you what access ) and
you are good to go.

Hi all,

I was wondering if someone had any idea how to do this:

Is there a way to connect say 12 (for example) console ports into a single
remote access box, which would then allow users to telnet into 1 common ip
address giving easy access to any one of the 12 seperate console ports?.
I.e. 1 ethernet/wan address in and many console connections out. It is for
remote access ccie lab work so that remote users could have console port
access to all the routers on a classroom WAN setup.

I'd appreciate any ideas.
