Term server.
2509 gives you 8 ports
2511 gives you 16 ports
26xx and 36xx can be configured with NM-16A/S and NM-32A/S modules for
even more
Those are expensive. Find yourself an old Xyplex 1640, and you have 40
ports available through a single IP address (separate port addresses, so
separate telnet sessions)
Much cooler, MUCH cheaper. Check out Ebay.

Subject: Remote access
Hi all,
I was wondering if someone had any idea how to do this:
Is there a way to connect say 12 (for example) console ports into a
single remote access box, which would then allow users to telnet into 1
common ip address giving easy access to any one of the 12 seperate
console ports?. I.e. 1 ethernet/wan address in and many console
connections out. It is for remote access ccie lab work so that remote
users could have console port access to all the routers on a classroom
WAN setup.
I'd appreciate any ideas.
Many thanks,
Malcolm
