Hi Manny,
A couple of things I'm thinking
1 - Can you post your configs? Explaining the issue and not displaying the
configs is kind of like bringing your car into a mechanic, explaining that
the engine is making some noises and not letting him open up the hood.
2 - Even though it may not be best practice - demand circuit and
dialer-watch can work together. Sometimes, I have to let isdn bring up the
call one time normally, and after the call is up and the networks are
converged, then I apply the
demand-circuit or dialer-watch on the hub side.
3 - Are you only applying 'ospf demand-circuit' on just one side of the
connection? If one side of the connection is the hub-side of a
hub-and-spoke relationship then apply the demand-circuit to the hub's bri
only.
4 - This link may help for demand-circuit issues-
http://www.cisco.com/warp/public/104/dcprob.html
5 - Are the router's IOS at least 12.1(7):
http://www.cisco.com/warp/public/471/backup_cookbook.html#ts_watch
6 - Denying OSPF as interesting traffic to bring up the call shouldn't be
effecting the neighbors from becoming adjacent once the call is up. Are the
routers receiving any OSPF broadcasts from the other side once the ISDN call
is up? What state of OSPF do the neighbors achieve even though they are not
adjacent?
Of course, these are only my opinions and I can be totally off on some of
this.
HTH,
Sean

Hi group members,
I am working on a scenerio that is still a puzzle to me and I wonder what
you guys think. In dialer watch configuration using ospf, what I noticed was
that when you deny ospf ( acl deny ospf any any and acl permit ip any
any )as required to prevent hellos from iniating a call, adjancy will not be
established between neighbors. I also tried using ospf demand circuit in
combination with dialer watch with no success.
Any comments would be appreciated.
Manny
