if you have a token ring interface connected to say, a 3920. and you have 2
trCrfs created, and your connected to one. And you have a device on another
trCrf, which implies they are on diffrernt rings. You use a trBrf to bridge
between them within the 3920. If you ping from the router to the other
device without Multiring turned on it wont work. If you enable multiring it
will work. Multiring tells the router to use all-routes explorers as opposed
to local explorers which wouldnt leave the ring that the local router is
attached to. been awhile since i've messed with this stuff, but thats the
jist of it I believe.
