Do you want to break the router while booting to go to rommon?

You can try putting the baud to 1200 (hyperterminal), boot the router and
press the space bar for 15 seconds. Then, change again the baud to 9600 and
you will see the router in rommon.

hope that is what you where asking.

Subject: Break sequence and Win 2000

I have tried (without success) to be able to use the break sequence to
change the register values for my routers. I am using Windows 2000 and have
used three different terminal emulation programs. I do a CNTL + Shift + 6
and then b, and the B just shows up on the command line and I'm not able to
go into the register. Does anyone have a solution for this?

Thanks,
Bill Mckenzie
