Slight correction to my original post......
In all the excitement of attaining MY number I got a little confused
regarding my dates etc. I actually attained my CCNA and started in
networking in DEC 99 and actually got my CCIE Written in DEC 00. The 16
months I was referring to was the period in between me attaining my
written
and passing the LAB. So I really robbed myself of 1 WHOLE YEARS OF
EXPERIENCE. I know for some of the oldies out there even 2 and a half
years
of experience is still not enough, but that said, knowing how hard I
have
worked over my 2 1/2 years, if anyone can attain their IE LAB in 16
months I
would have to take my hat off to them!!!!!!
For those of you out there who still begrudge me my number there are 4
digits below that I'm sure you can work out with you greatly superior
networking ability and expertise..........that is unless you've had your
head stuck up your arse in a wiring cabinet somewhere for the last 10
years
