Hi
I wonder if someone can help, I managed to obtain an old 4500-M router which
had a duff processor. So I've taken the flash out and memory and decided to
up grade my other 4500. However on boot up I get the following:
Error: System flash sizing mismatch
Size reported = 4096KB, calculated = 8192KB
And then on show flash it registers the upgarde in Flash to '8192K bytes of
processor board System flash (Device not programmable)'. The router is
operational, but what does this mean '(Device not programmable)'. I want to
up grade the to Enterprise +, however I don't want end up with a
non-working router or having time to sort out a problem if occurs. I've
checked on CCO with no answer. If anyone has encountered this problem before
please let me know.
