Couple of things on a router have this behavior. Appletalk, AAA NEW-MODEL, and
 subinterfaces.

You can try "default interface s0/0.1" to see if that really knocks it out, but
 I woudln't bet on it.

BTW, the "default interface e0/0" is a fast way to remove all configs from a ro
uter.
