Because it's not a full-featured CallManager integration.
The 'survivability' piece of 'Survivable Remote Side Telephony' is the
important feature set with that load. And you still can't connect an IP
Phone to an FXO or FXS port - only to the Ethernet side of the Router.
Oh, and did I mention the license fee for the SRST load? :-)

Why has no one mentioned the remote sight survibability software load
for the 26xx/36xx and most recently the 17xx platform? With this IOS
rev load you dont even need a Callman for ext to ext dialing or
connection to the PSTN for that matter......
