Greg,, You are absolutely right , One of my long
distance study mate did the same problem basically he
had a old version of marc russel Labs and the
configuration pasted in this mail resemble the
same....

But It is wrong on the interface you must have "ip
ospf message-digest-key <key> md5 <password>"

try this you will get the result.....
