Yes, it is possible. Use "dialer rotary-group" 1 on the BRI interface
instead of dialer pool-member 1, you will then be able to use dialer maps on
the dialer interface, then configure it just like you would normally. I
believe you will also have to have "dialer in-band" on the dialer interface.

Subject: ppp calback w/dialer profile
Is it possible to do PPP callback with dialer profiles?
Initially on the callback server I put the bare minimum on the physical
BRI
interface.
int bri0
encapsulation ppp
dialer pool-member 1
isdn switch type
spid1
spid2
interface dialer 1
ip address
encapsulation ppp
dialer remote-name R5
dialer callback-secure
dialer string xxxxxxx class cback
dialer pool 1
dialer-group 1
ppp callback accept
ppp authentication chap
ppp chap hostname R2
ppp chap password xxxxx
map-class dialer cback
dialer callback server username
dilaer-list 1 protocol ip permit
I found that when I did not put PPP authentication, the called router
above
did not authenticate even though I had ppp authentication chap
configured
under the interface dialer. The callback server also did not
recognize
that it was supposed to call back and the connection was allowed.. So
I
then put ppp authenticatin chap under the BRI0 and it did a two way
authentication, but no callback.
Thus I am wondering if it is even possible??????????? I found no such
examples on CCO.....
Thanks,
David
