Does have anyone have some good resources or maybe even some pre-built scripts
that will scrub routers and switches clean to their initial setup or default
settings once someone is done playing around on some lab equipment? I am
thinking of building some remote access to my lab equipment which is currently
19 routers and 9 catalyst switches but I need a way to clean the routers and
switches up once someone is finished.

Requirements:
Need to be able to clean the router and switches no matter what the cur
rent
passwords are on the equipment. Hence the script will have be able to do
password recovery processes for routers and switches.
Would like to be able to have the script run at a certain time or times
during each day.
Would like to be able to integrate the script into a html web page.

I am told that most people do this through pearl scripting but that there
might be other ways to do this also including java scripting.

I am not a Unix person nor really a programmer even though I do have some
background in c+, Fortran, assembler, etc from my early days.

I would be willing to trade some free time on the rack for the best set of
scripts that someone can come up with that I pick to implement for the rack.

The rack does include atm, voice, isdn, remote power/reboot access, etc and
everything else needed to pass the Cisco CCIE Routing and Switching.

The lab equipment could be cabled for various popular lab scenarios.

I am also in the process of adding pix firewalls to the rack in the future for
the Security CCIE.

Email directly with any information you have or if you are interested in
participating in this programming challenge.

Thanks,
