Well the classic answer applies here . . . it depends.
The lab is usually not that vague. If you cannot read
"between the lines" then it is time to go to the
proctor . . . if the proctor is not clarifying (it
ain't him/her), then you need more study or you did not
ask the right question (or you did not need to ask the
right question ... aka you need more study.
