Tony,
Because if u dont give this command then the dlsw packet will be
fragmented as TR frame-size is 3 time larger.
so when packet traversing TR to ethernet it will be broken down to get
through.
if this is annoying to u (fragmentation) then use "lf" feature.
the values are :
516-516 bytes
1470-1470 bytes
1500-1500 bytes
2052-2052 bytes
4472-4472 bytes
8144-8144 bytes
11407-11407 bytes
11454-11454 bytes
17800-17800 bytes
Use 1470 when packet is going to ethernet so there will be 30byte place for
other hearders and trailer so in
end it will be near to ethernet frame that is 1500
