Console problem with 2500

Hi all,

I have a funny problem.

I am trying to disable Exec-timeout on the console port (Line Con 0) using:

no exec-timeout

but after fewe minutes from doing that the router hangs and locks me out
totally, I can only log in using telnet.

Any ideas??
