Hi all,

A while back, I shared with the group that one of my routers will not boot
properly. It keeps spitting out the following error message over and over...

System Bootstrap, Version 11.0(10c), SOFTWARE
Copyright (c) 1986-1996 by cisco Systems
2500 processor with 14336 Kbytes of main memory
Local Timeout (control reg=0x118) Error, address: 0x21000F2 at 0x1076914 (PC)

I've learned that my problem could be solved by replacing the memory in the
router. Here are 2 questions for the group...

1. Which memory chips should I replace? Is it the 2 chips over on one side
of the motherboard or the single, "beefier" chip all by itself on the other
side of the board. (I don't know how to refer to them.)

2. Where can I purchase the memory I need and what type of memory should I
buy? I understand that I can use off-the-shelf memory, but what brand is
best?

Thanks!

Todd Carswell
