Jeff says.......on page 243

The last term [K5/(Reliability+K4)] DOES NOT get used..... IF K5 = 0

So...if K5=0,

Metric = [K1*BW+(K2*BW/(256-LOAD)+K3*DLY]

Subject: Igrp metric calculation

As per Jeff Doyle the IGRP metric calc. formula is as
follows

[K1*BW+(K2*BW/(256-LOAD)+K3*DLY]*[K5/(Reliability+K4)]

By default K1=K3=1 and K2=K4=K5=0,

But if K5=K4=0 then the last term in the above formula
is zero (K5/Rel..), so then the product of any number
with a zero is zero, So how come the formula reduces
to

K1*BW+K2DLY

Can some one pls. explain....
Sandro
