Have you tried doing:

network x.x.x.x mask y.y.y.y backdoor

Also, there was a bug with Backdoor that you might be
running into. The bug id is CSCdr12571.

''network backdoor'' functionality is broken - when
BGP receives update
for backdoor network it installs it into routing
table. Removing ''net
back'' command and putting it back into configuration
solves the
problem (until BGP receives external update for the
network).
