OT: OC-12 or GigE interface preference

Assuming that cost doesn't matter, what are the advantages or disadvantages
of POS OC-12 vs GigE for Commodity Internet access. With either, the access
rate will be the same, about 300 - 400 Meg (likely to increase later, as
needed). With either, it'll be in a Cisco 12404 most likely. I'll provide
any other info for anyone willing to spend a few minutes on this.

Sorry for the off topic. I'm unsure how to get good feedback by Monday
except for here, and reading a lot.
