you'd better to know how to configure IP address and default gateway on 3920
for telnet reachability. It is not necessary for this scenario though..

Subject: How to configure the 3920??

Hi Experts,

I have no 3920 switch and hope to know how to configure the 3920.
The setting is:
Ring 1------to1--R1--s1-----------------s2--R2--to2---------Ring 2
R1 and R2 are attached to the port 1 and port 2 of the 3920 respectively.

Suppose I have configured the DLSW part and want to configure the 3920
switch.
Here is what I will do,
1. set two trbrf, namely, trbrf1 and trbrf2, then assign vlan 1 and 2 to
them
respectively
2. set two trcrf, namely, trcrf1 and trcrf2, then assign vlan 10 and 20 to
them
also assign appropiate the appropiate parent trbrf.(trbrf1--trcrf1,
trbrf2--trcrf2)
3. set the trcrf 1 to ring 1 and the trcrf2 to ring 2, using SRB
4. assign port 1 to trcrf1 and port 2 to trcrf2

Am I miss something?

Thank you in advance.

Jeff
